I've been getting a monthly Thera-lift facial from Nina or Johanna for over 12 years now and am constantly complimented on my skin! On top of the treatments I get, I exclusively use Johanna's products (my favorites are Complexion Perfection and the Lavender Nutrients) which always leave my skin glowing. I get biochem peels and microneedling 1-2x a year to help smooth out the wrinkles and sun spots as I get older. The spa is amazing, the service is top notch, the facial goes way beyond your traditional spa facial, and the products are so much better than anything you can find at a derm's office or Sephora. Today was my 100th facial. Yes, I have been coming here for a monthly facial for more than 8 years. Nina always makes my skin feel amazing and although I've definitely aged, people comment on how good my skin looks. Pure skin science updates their technology frequently to make sure that the micro-current and ultrasound is as beneficial as possible. They also make their own products using natural ingredients. I have been using their products at home; not only do they make my skin feel hydrated and smooth, but they smell amazing. I highly recommend Pure Skin Science. I’ve been coming to Pure Skin Science for over 10+ years and absolutely love the Thera-lift treatment and I alternate it with the Thera-wave. It has made a huge difference in my appearance. I always feel so rejuvenated after my treatments. Additionally, their products are so pure and love the fact that they are pure organic. Their intense hydration copper peptides, ultra peptides, complexion perfection peptides and skin nutrients orange rose facial oil is a complete game changer. I’m very excited to have started a series of facials at Pure Skin Science as well as their skincare line. I’ve had problem acne-prone skin for about 31 years and just had a terrible flare-up breakout. Johanna was empathetic and super quick to come to the rescue with a number of treatments to calm it down. It’s already better after 24 hours so I can’t wait to see what happens in a month or two! Johanna was thoughtful in finding the right treatments for my skin and budget. She was also helpful in recommending supplements that will improve my skin and overall health- a wealth of information and solutions. The facial was one of the best, most thorough facials I’ve ever had and there have been many. I cannot say enough good about Johanna and the spa. She is so responsive, welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful! The products are very clean and natural. The facilities are pristine and peaceful and appts are timely. This is my 4th facial at pure skin science. I started getting facials here because my mom has been getting facials done by Nina for years. My mom’s skin is amazing and I wanted the same results. Pure Skin Science is a fantastic spa. I had the Theralift treatment and it was comforting. They call it taking your face to the gym and I agree. After the treatment, my face felt tighter in my jowl area instantly. They also use their own handcrafted organic products during the treatment. The aromas I smelled during the treatment were an experience in itself not to mention how my skin felt after. It was amazing. Definitely get your facial done here. Love, love, love this place!! Dee has been doing my facials for a year or more, she's the best and my skin has never looked better. I'm 68 yrs old and considering all of the sun damage I've done over the years it's a small miracle. This is my second package of treatments and this time I upgraded to the Thera-Lift copper treatments and I can really see the difference in my skin. This small little spa is amazing! I loved my facial and me k massage. Dee was very informative and sweet. It was almost a relaxation tease, one where you’re about to fall asleep but then bam, it’s over. Definitely recommend this spa if you can afford it. I got my treatment through Living Social. Not sure if I’ll continue but if I had the financial means to, there wouldn’t be any question. Products are all organic ~ Nycette V

I’ve been going to Pure Skin Science in Redondo Beach regularly since it opened a few years ago. I get facials monthly and also use their skincare products at home. My skin has really benefited from both the treatments and the products. The owner, Dr. Yoie is knowledgeable, talented and honest. And Dee is fantastic. One of the best facial and neck, arm, head massages I've ever had, and I've had a lot of them! The microcurrent and light treatments were also strangely relaxing enough that I dozed off a couple of times. This was my second time (in the San Clemente location) and I'll be back for more! ~ Carla K
